Verification of Translation Documents PDF Print E-mail

The documents requested for translation verification need to be sent to the International Relations Department. ( Note: International Relations Department can help to tranlate docs from English, French, Japanese to Vietnamese and vice versa for CTU staff and faculty members).

- When contacting for translation certification, it requires to carry e-file if there are necessary corrections. Or you can send email to relevant officers:

· Ttranslation from French to Vietnamese and vice versa to Ms. Ho Thi Ngoc Nuong (email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ). 

· Translation from Japanese to Vietnamese and vice versa to Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen (email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ). 

After a half day work, the staff members can get the translation and get the documents stamped at the Department of Administration and Planning.

Extension of visa / Temporary residence PDF Print E-mail

 

I. The written request for extension of visa / temporary residence must be submitted to the Rectorate Board, and Cc International Relations Department), including:

1.1. Name of Colleges, Institutes or Schools in which the guests are working for.

1.2. The guest’s personal information as follows:

1.4 . Time for extension of visa / temporary residence (From expired date of the visa to the day .... month .... year ...)

1.5. Reasons /Purposes to extend the visa/ temporary residence

1.6. Temporary address in Viet Nam certified by the local public security.

 

Remarks: Please enclosed the written request with:

* Tentative working schedule during time for extension of visa/ temporary residence.

* Labour contract to work for Can Tho University, (if Volunteers)

* Certification of the local public security for temporary residence.

* Application for visa renewal, replacement or modification, length of stay extension No. 14 (contact Dept. of International Relations for this application)

* The guest’s passport (original)

* Dept. of International Relations do not support extension visa in case of a visa to Viet Nam for travel purposes (Type C1). 

II. Process

After receiving a complete documents from the colleges/ schools, Dept. of International Relations collaborate and carry out to apply for visa extension, Then transfer the approval records of extension for the units to receive the visa extension results and pay renewal fees at Immigration Department, Can Tho City.

Remarks:

Dept. of International Relations will proceed to carry out the visa extension procedures after receiving the Rectorate Board’s agreement.

The full documents or the visa/ temporary residence must be submitted at least one (01) week earlier the date they are expired.

Trips to local sites PDF Print E-mail

1. Document I: The written request for the trips to local sites must be submitted to the Rectorate Board

2. Document II: The written request for the trips to local sites sent to the External Affairs of the local provinces that the delegates would like to visit.

- The guest’s personal information as follow:

+ Organizations in which the guests are working for.

+ Names, Surnames, Passport numbers, Nationalities, Genders.

+ Guests’ working duration/ schedule/ program at the local sites

+ Anticipated temporary address in the local sites

- Reasons/ Purposes of working guests (in what programs or projects)

- Full name, phone number, email of the CTU staff accompany with the guest.

- The cost/ budget

3. Send document II to International Relations Dept. (including e-file)

4. International Relations Dept. submit the documents to Rectorate Board.

5. The relevant department will guide the guest to the local sites after getting aprroval from the local authorires

 

 
Process of visa application PDF Print E-mail

Process of visa application includes these steps:

    1. Visa documents from departments and colleges (including visa issuing proposal  document and visa application form)

       a) Visa issuing proposal document must be submitted to the Rectorare Board

            The document needs to be specified:

            - Reasons/purposes of working guests ( in what programs or projects).

            - The guest’s job and organization in which the guest is working for.

-         The Guest’s personal information in passport as follows:

+Name, Surname (as in passport)

+ Gender

+  Birth date

+  Nationality (current nationality)

- Place of receiving visa.

- Payment for the guest’s working time ( and from what source)

- The guest’s working duration.

- Types of immigration ( single or multiple entry)

- Anticipated temporary address in Viet Nam.

- The guest’s working schedule in Viet Nam

b) Visa Application Form (please find, download and print the attached document)

* Note: All documents above must be submitted to the International Relations Department 2 weeks before guest’s entry

    2. What does International Relations Department (IRD) do to get visa for guests?  

          The procedures of getting visa is as follows:         

- Checking all official ducuments for  visa application consisting of one document submitted to Ministry of Education and Training and the others submitted to Immigration Office (3 copies) ( IRD asks units to correct if there are any faults)

- Sending all revised official ducuments to the Rector Board for agreement

- After receiving the Rector Board’s agreement (including Rector Board’s signature on documents sent to Immigration Office), asking for a reference number and a stamp from Department of  Administration and Planning

- Sending all documents to Liaison Office in Ho Chi Minh City

- Confirming whether Liaison Office in Ho Chi Minh City receives the documents

-         Contacting, submiting documents to Immigration Office in Ho Chi Minh City and waiting for results (task of Liaison Office’s staff in Ho Chi Minh).

-         Following up visa requirements ( IRD’s  task)

-         Sending visa results to IRD as soon as receiving them from Immigration Office (task of Liaison Office’s officer in Ho Chi Minh)

-         Informing the unit

-         Informing the guest (if he/she is Rector Board’s guest, unit will ask IRD to inform).    

            * Note: IRD only carries out visa application procedures when getting the Rector Board’s agreement

     3. Duration:

             About 8 to 10 days right after IRD get the Rector Board’s agreement
